Good afternoon,
My name is Scott Bryant and I’m the Circular Economy Coordinator down at the City of Greater Bendigo. I recently came across the work of the IPA Australia, and thought the work we’re doing down this way might be of interest to your wider network.
As part of our circular economy vision, we’ve been developing a ‘Circular Greater Bendigo’ project of work for regional post-landfill solutions, and the City of Greater Bendigo has now launched the ‘Circular Greater Bendigo Expression of Interest (EOI)’ (which is open until the 22nd September). The EOI can be found here (along with waste resource flow data details). Please find attached further details on the EOI process.
If your are potentially interested in getting involved in this procurement process, responses due no later than 3pm AEST on 22nd September. Please email: s.bryant@Bendigo.vic.gov.au
Thanks
Scott
I am new to the field but would be really interested in any experience. I am super-keen to eventually start my own insect farm.
I have completed a science degree and have been working in land/fire management.
Any volunteer opportunities would be most appreciated.
Thanks so much
Lisa

Hi IPAA members
We are a couple of Spanish (Miguel Torres & Geraldine Florez) who would like to learn about the edible insect world. We are thinking in the idea to establish a business in our country in the future about this industry and we are hungry to learn the most we can about insect farming. We have found your website looking for information in the network and we would like to be volunteers in your organisation helping you with whatever you would need it. We are very hard-workers, serious people and we are willing to do whatever to help you in your organisation. We don't have knowledge about this specific insect world, but we are handy people and we are used to work in a farm environment. We learn fast, we like to work and we do not mind to work hard or for long hours. About our professions, I am Industrial Engineer and Geraldine is a Dental Nurse. We both have the Work and Holiday VISA and we arrived the last Januray to Australia, so we can stay in the country until the next Januray 2021. We are staying in Morawa, Western Australia, but we are willing to go wherever you would need us.
