AgriFutures Insect Industry Program of Research (PoR)
Led by the University of Adelaide and supported by AgriFutures Australia through its Emerging Industries program, a new $2 million program of research is set to unlock the potential of Australia’s insect industry by addressing critical barriers to growth.
The research program is guided by the Australian Insect RD&E Plan, in consultation with producers through the Insect Protein Association of Australia, to support the long-term growth and viability of the Australian insect industry.
Visit this page for updates, reports and research findings over the 5-year program of research.
Your perspective needed for POR
Opportunity to participate in behavioural science discussions for PoR.
Evidn is a behavioural science company supporting the insect industry’s POR, to understand the barriers likely to impact the future growth & acceptance of the industry.
Over the coming weeks, the Evidn team are keen to speak with producers as well as stakeholders in the pet food and live feed sectors to understand their perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry, and what could be done to better support them.
Based on these discussions, Evidn will then be producing strategies and tools to embed into the POR designed to boost industry growth and acceptance.
Evidn would welcome the chance to speak with you for a brief (30-45 minute) phone or Teams call. All information will be confidential, anonymous, and reported in aggregate.
If you’d like to discuss this opportunity further, you can contact Sam Moore at: sam@evidn.com, 0422 625 340 or Moe Clark at: moekazoo@gmail.com, 0437595367.
